Bichon Frise are thought to look like clouds with their fluffy, pure-white fur that makes them appear puffed up when well-groomed. Small but sturdy, the breed is known to be cheerful and affectionate, often sought after because its dense, curly coat is hypoallergenic and low-shedding.
The breed's historic background had them mainly raised as royal European lapdogs, but after the French Revolution left many homeless, they became known for being highly trainable, attention-grabbing circus dogs and street performers that did tricks.
