Dramatic Husky Pouting Like A Little Kid After Being Told 'No' Will Crack You Up
Many people love dogs with big personalities, and anyone who loves huskies knows these zany canines can often be just that. But on the other side of happy husky moments are those not-so-happy ones — like when our pups pout. Unfortunately, though, both can be hilarious. Notably, one dramatic husky's response to being told "no" was captured in a super funny TikTok, and her little kid pout will crack you up.

"You think kids are bad, try telling a husky no," shared the TikToker in the nine-second clip you'll want to watch more than once. That's because this husky is a total drama queen. She's basically made it her job to stare down her parents as she rests her chin on the table in front of them, all because she was told "no."
It's unclear what the "no" was about, but as the commenters emphasized, that's totally beside the point. "No is not in their vocabulary," said one viewer. While others echoed the sentiment that huskies don't take 'no' for an answer. In fact, one commenter joked that the pup's stare-off was actually more of a cute pose to turn that "no" into a "yes."
Why are huskies so stubborn?
The TikTok husky's reaction to being told "no" is surely bullheaded, and this seems to be a pattern for the breed. As one commenter shared, "I spent all night saying 'no' to our three huskies. I lost every time." They even went on to call huskies the most stubborn breed! Whatever you may think, huskies are in fact often considered some of the most stubborn dogs around. So, why is that?
Huskies are from the working group of dogs, often bred for things like guarding and protection. Huskies, specifically, were originally bred for sledding, so they had to be quite strong, mentally and physically, for those cold, cold treks. Due to this very assertive, independent nature, these canines have developed quite the reputation for stubbornness — and it's not unfounded!
A 2022 study in the Cell Press Journal found that selective breeding is what gives some breeds their distinct traits, such as being stubborn or more trainable. The good news is that huskies and their big personalities are absolutely trainable with a bit of patience and commitment. Positive reinforcement training, or the process of rewarding positive behaviors in dogs, has been proven to be beneficial for stubborn and chill dogs alike. So, even dogs like huskies who don't take "no" for an answer can learn to be more flexible over time.
