"He's ready to go," reads the TikTok video's caption, as Walnut the fluffy corgi waits expectantly on the couch while wearing a colorful camo harness and a rainbow sun hat. There's no mention of where exactly they are off to, so the sky's the limit when it comes to what adorable adventure Walnut might go on. We're sure it'll be a moment that's nothing short of adorable for this corgi.

One commenter joked, "He looks like a grandma from the ['80s] ready for her vacation to Florida," as another jumped in to say, "[Walnut] is carrying the passports and has laminated the itinerary." Meanwhile, several folks dropped references to the Pembroke Welsh corgi looking like a Wilderness Explorer from the movie "Up." Now, off you go, sir!

Things to know about Pembroke Welsh corgis

If you've ever met a Pembroke Welsh corgi like Walnut, you realize one thing right away: These little dogs have big personalities! While usually standing only 10 to 12 inches tall and weighing no more than 30 pounds, corgis have short little legs but are definitely not short on charm.

Originally bred as herding dogs in Wales, corgis gained a reputation for being small but mighty workers, herding cattle and sheep by nipping at their heels and quickly dodging their kicks — a job that required both courage and agility. But they became world famous thanks to Queen Elizabeth II, who owned dozens of corgis throughout her lifetime. These days, the breed makes for a great family pet who is smart, active, and loves being given tasks.

Of course, all that cuteness still comes with a warning as to why you should think twice before adopting a corgi: They're very vocal and they shed... a lot. Corgis have a thick, weather-resistant double coat and shed quite a bit year-round. During spring and fall, they go through major coat blowouts, so expect plenty of fur on your clothes, furniture, and just about everywhere else. Overall, though, the Pembroke Welsh corgi is a loyal, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining companion that just may be cute enough to get away with anything!
