Only after the cat seems comfortable wearing the harness and leash indoors should you try to venture outdoors. Keep the initial sessions short and enjoyable. Patience is the key, along with cat treats — lots and lots of cat treats. Younger kitties tend to adapt better to the adventure cat life than older animals.
