6 Dogs Caught Loving On Their Stuffed Animals
Remember your favorite childhood toy? Perhaps you carried it around with you everywhere, or protected it pretty fiercely from your siblings. If so, you may be able to relate to your dog's love for their stuffed toys, which is why watching our canines enjoy their absolute favorite toys is such an adorable treat.
Every dog is different; some prefer balls, others brain games, and, of course, many canines love their stuffed animals. It makes sense; stuffed animals can be comforting support for anxious dogs, and they're also incredibly plush chew toys that have a satisfying chompable quality great for puppies and adult dogs alike. Speaking of, if you've got a big chewer on your hands, you may want to look into some super tough toys for dogs who destroy everything (including stuffed animals), just in case. But in the meantime, here are six adorable dogs that were caught loving their stuffed animals — and amazingly, none of them are chewed to pieces — yet!
Romeo loves Bluey
Romeo was being "suspiciously quiet," according to his dog mom in one sweet TikTok video. So, she decided to check on him outside, only to find the cutie cuddling his favorite stuffed animal, Bluey. The golden retriever readjusted his snuggles atop Bluey, and the two continued serenely bird watching. It's unclear if Romeo knows Bluey from the Australian animated television series, but he's clearly had this toy long enough to fall in love. In fact, with Romeo only being a year old, it's quite possible this pair has been together most of his life. How sweet!
Bear and his dino collection
This European Doberman has one impressive dino collection. Bear is seen at the start of this viral TikTok with a blue and yellow stuffed dinosaur in his mouth. Then, we see Bear go from one room to the next with this same dino, then into the backyard, and even while snuggling in his dad's arms! He also has a couple other stuffed dinosaurs he loves, but his dad notes that the blue one is his favorite. If Bear seems big, American and European are different types of Doberman pinschers. European Dobermans tend to be bigger and even more muscular.
Teddy's beloved stuffed Lambchop
Teddy really loves his stuffy. This golden retriever's favorite pastime is holding his stuffed Lambchop toy up in the air with both paws as he lies down, staring up at it. One viewer from the popular TikTok pondered what he could be imagining: "Running through the field with his friend, watching sunsets, sharing a treat?" Who knows, but one thing's for sure: it's sure to be cute. Another thoughtful viewer mused, "Find someone who looks at you the way Teddy looks at his stuffy."
Ollie and his matching teddy bear
Ollie's a Maltipoo who's just helped his dog mom live her childhood dream. How, you might ask? Well, though he's definitely a dog, this Maltipoo's got a serious resemblance to his dog mom's childhood favorite toy in this TikTok: an adorable teddy bear. Nicknamed the "soft smile sweetheart" on TikTok, this fur baby has a definite resting-teddy-bear-face. Sitting right next to this stuffed animal, Ollie really does look like a bear in disguise. One viewer even pointed out that "they have the same smile and kind eyes!"
Bruno the capybara thief
When one dad was given a capybara toy for Father's Day, a Bernese mountain dog named Bruno got his paws on it in a sweet TikTok video. "Pretty sure he thinks every gift that comes into this house is actually for him," shared the dad. He then explained that though the capybara is a stuffed animal, it's not a dog toy, but Bruno doesn't seem convinced. In fact, Bruno even leans on top of his dad's hand while he holds the toy, as if to take it back. Finally, the dad caves and decides to loan Bruno what is clearly his new favorite toy.
Waldo's casual walk with his stuffies
Where's Waldo? Oh, just walking happily down the street with his favorite stuffy of the day! On TikTok, this dachshund is seen waddling down the sidewalk with six different stuffed animals of all shapes, sizes, and colors. The largest, a teddy bear, is almost his size! The tiniest, on the other hand, is a teensy weeny yellow banana. But don't worry, Waldo seems just as satisfied with each. He even takes breaks in the grass just to chew on his toys, which seems to be his favorite part.
