Golden Retriever Literally 'Glows' Up And Looks Like An Angel After His Haircut

When you step out of a hair salon, you often feel like you're glowing. A newly coiffed 'do can do that to you. It's no different with dogs after coming home from the groomer, often leaving owners oohing and aahing at the outcome of their once scruffy pup looking dog-show ready. Just ask Maverick, a golden retriever who just had an adorable glow-up that leaves him looking angelic.

In the TikTok video, the goldie sits patiently as his enamored owner fawns all over him and his latest look. "You look so handsome," she says before comparing him to an angel because his golden fur is shimmering in the sunlight and leaving a literal hair halo around his head and body.

"Golden hour with a golden retriever 💛🥰😍," says one watcher in the comments, with another adding, "Not Mavvy in golden hour, giving off his glow, his beauty is beyond compare." The floof is strong with this one!

Has your dog ever come home looking fresh after a trip to the groomer, strutting around like they own the place? That fresh haircut can definitely make them look more confident, but dogs probably do not think about confidence the way people do. Instead, their post-grooming energy may simply mean they feel more comfortable, with a lighter coat and a fresher feel.
