Saint Bernard Seems Unenthused By Halloween Photoshoot — But Her Scowl Makes It Perfect
If there were ever a time to be gloomy (or at least look that way), it's Halloween. One model-esque Saint Bernard has proven that quite perfectly in a viral Instagram video. Her unenthused scowl while wearing one ghoulish accessory in a Halloween photoshoot will have you ready to find your pup's next spooky pumpkin costume.
"We both just wanted the perfect Halloween photo," mused the Instagrammer in the caption of Chicago's very brief (but very clear) clip. In the matter of just a few seconds, Chicago's seen modeling the perfect little Halloween accessory! At first, Chicago seems not to mind wearing this pumpkin-themed headband. It's one of those classic dog Halloween costumes that never lose its charm, after all.
But just wait, because the second half of the video shows her attempting to paw away the headband in total disdain. Funny enough, though, her initial scowl while wearing such a ghoulish headband works ironically well. Her total lack of enthusiasm makes her seem especially macabre!
Chicago's a great model, and even better big sister
Chicago pulled off the perfect Halloween scowl like a true modeling pro. It turns out her favorite pastime seems to be far less ghoulish. According to her Instagram, four-year-old Chicago especially loves supervising her little sister, Saint Bernard, Cici (who also has an IG of her own).
Chicago and Cici are so sweet to each other, and that seems to be the case even from the beginning. One incredibly precious Instagram video shows the two sisters meeting when CiCi was just a tiny pup. It reminds us of another Saint Bernard, Otis, who took his mini-me sibling under his wing! Cici's Instagram also notes that one of her hobbies is "trying to keep up with her big sister."
Chicago also enjoys lying about and fairly slow walks on beautifully scenic routes. In fact, she lives a pretty chill life, as many Saint Bernards might. This big dog breed makes some of the best couch potatoes with their calm demeanor and lower energy levels compared to other pups. No wonder she makes such a good Halloween model; this girl knows how to hold a pose.
