'Rare' Goldendoodle Puppy's Crystal-Blue Eyes Will Leave You In Awe

Veterinarians see all sorts of pet patients walk through their doors, but every once in a while a furry visitor comes along who stops everyone in their tracks. That's what happened with a cream-colored goldendoodle and internet vet Dr. Lindsay Butzer in Florida. In a TikTok clip from August 2025 that is making its rounds on social media, Butzer held up a creamy doodle to show off his beautiful eyes, making a routine check-up an instant standout visit.

This darling doodle isn't just impossibly fluffy and adorable, but also features a mesmerizing pair of crystal blue eyes that practically glow against his golden curls. As she proclaims in her video, this is the first time she'd ever laid eyes on a goldendoodle with these colored eyes.

Of course, like most dogs, the little blue-eyed doodle wasn't the most thrilled about being placed in the medical exam area. It probably didn't help that she was holding him up to the camera, showing off the pup, then poking and prodding his blue eyes. This pup's adorable look reminds us of Gemma, the goldendoodle who hung onto her mom's every word and melted hearts.

Commenters across TikTok were quick to obsess over these unforgettable eyes, with many noting that the puppy looks straight out of a fairy tale. After all, who wouldn't want their daily workload at the office interrupted by an influx of warm, wiggly affection like this goldendoodle with such stunning eyes looking back at you? It's a gentle reminder that animals can bring us endless wonder even in the most unexpected ways.

While most goldendoodle puppies are born with slate-blue eyes that transition to brown or hazel by 8 to 12 weeks, permanent blue eyes in this breed require specific genetic traits, such as the merle gene. Whether this goldendoodle's eyes remain a permanent crystal-blue into adulthood or transition as his melanin develops, he's got the Internet's love.

Doodles often grab our hearts, from this one with a giraffe-haircut and dye to this sheepadoodle that looks like a real-life Snoopy! Here's to hoping Dr. Lindsay Butzer keeps these furry clinic co-stars of hers coming! Viral moments like these give us a chance to slow down, appreciate the little gleam in our own eyes along with those sparkles reflected in our pets' eyes as they look lovingly back at us.
