Miniature Deaf Dog Figures Out A Brilliant (And Messy) Way To Chill Out After Running Laps

You know, sometimes our dogs choose chaos, and that's okay! Whether you have a pup who can't help but have the zoomies at the oddest times of night, or a border collie who chooses chaos over listening to Dad's lecture, we pawrents don't love our fur babies any less. When a pup figures out a hilariously messy way (hint: it involves splashing a lot of water) to relax after running laps, like in this super funny YouTube video, you might fall in love with the chaos, too!

According to her dog mom, Frannie, a tiny, deaf Boston Terrier, is one adorably chaotic character. She's apparently developed the outrageously funny habit of going into "gremlin mode," which is basically Frannie's high-energy spurts that turn into the funniest and most epic zoomies. She'll run laps around her dog or horse siblings, and even around her parents in what one viewer on the GeoBeats Animals video aptly called "a pocket-sized tornado"!

Perhaps the most hilarious part of "gremlin mode" is Frannie's recovery afterward. That's because after every spurt, this cutie decides to sit in water bowls to cool down. Though she started doing this only outside, she brought her antics indoors and will even roam around in the wet shower from time to time. "It's become a daily occurrence," said Frannie's mom, who eventually learned to embrace her playful dog's antics. She's even nicknamed her water bowl ritual "soup making," in an adorable Instagram post.

Resident soup maker, Frannie, also known as Frannie Noodles, is quite the character, and she makes it known on Instagram and TikTok. Her mom notes that despite Fran's inability to hear, she's a super confident canine. "She's 100% deaf and 100% tuned into what we're doing," said her mom on the GeoBeats Animals video, who confirmed that Frannie does seem to understand what's going on around her.

Other than daily zoomies and water bowl time, Fran likes to play with her dog and horse siblings. She also moonlights as a "jungle creature," literally hanging in her own little hammock in between the trees in her backyard. Oh, and the face she makes while relaxing in it is sure to brighten your day.

"She just does her own thing, and she's unapologetic about it," said her mom. That definitely doesn't mean Frannie's a troublemaker. In fact, Boston terriers are often considered one of the best-behaved dog breeds. However, one viewer did note that her Boston terrier has pretty similar antics to Frannie, which means this breed just might be equipped for especially hilarious antics. Sounds like a good time to us!
