she/her/hers
Writer, conservation groupie and animal professional. Former founder of The Hope Project and Head of Animal Welfare and Behaviour for Dogs Trust. I also was their spokesperson on dangerous and fighting dogs. I ran a successful animal behaviour practice and puppy school in central London for nearly 20 years. During that time I was a director for the Society for Companion Animal Studies and the Companion Animal Behaviour Study Group. I was an assessor for the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (UK) and Pets As Therapy. I worked as an expert to the courts in dangerous dogs, and taught animal welfare, and behaviour internationally. I have taught lawyers, law students, veterinary surgeons, animal welfare officers, dog breeders, trainers and behaviourists. I have written about dog for decades and wildlife, more recently, with multiple bylines in dog and conservation magazines. I'm semi retired now although I'm still writing and working with puppy owners and write a local blog for dog guardians.
