Aussie Firefighters Are Posing With Pups For A Good Cause
What do you get when you combine adorable puppies and a bunch of buff, shirtless Australian firefighters? A calendar that'll be burning a hole at the top of your Christmas list after today, that's what!
Besides being brave, selfless and courageous in the face of danger, the team behind the annual firefighters calendar also has a serious soft spot for helping those in need.
Since 1993 the guys have flexed their creative muscles to put together an annual calendar and while the profits typically benefit charities like the burn unit at a local children's hospital, they decided to change it up this year by partnering with the RSPCA. The proceeds of the calendar will go to improving shelter conditions and preventing animal cruelty through education and fund-raising efforts.
Now that's one purchase you can feel good about.
Posing with pooches from the Safe Haven Animal Rescue in Brisbane, Australia, the whole thing has gone viral — and for good reason. After garnering more than 80k new followers on their Facebook page, the guys hope they're igniting awareness about animal rights and can get some lovable pups adopted at the same time.
